1. WonderWorks
WonderWorks is an incredible indoor amusement park in Pigeon Forge. There are more than 35,000 square feet of educational entertainment with over 100 hands-on exhibits that are designed to challenge the mind and spark the imagination. For families with kids, take time to explore the Wonder Zones! You can discover more about natural disasters, space discovery, light and sound, and more. Groups also love the Indoor Ropes Course and battling it out during a game of Laser-Tag in the black-lit maze! WonderWorks is a great place to let your imagination run wild while learning new things, and it’s all indoors so you won’t have to worry about the weather getting in your way of having a good time.
2. CLIMB Works
CLIMB Works is Gatlinburg’s premier family adventure destination! Ziplining is an exciting activity that everyone will love. The experience is even more special when you get to share it with people you love. Their Mountaintop Zipline Tour is open year-round and offers higher vantage points and longer lines than ever before. With their side-by-side zipline runs, you can enjoy the gorgeous views right beside the person of your choice. In the spring through the fall, you can also try the Treetops Zipline Tour and mountain biking!
3. Smoky Mountain Outdoors
White water rafting is one of the best Smoky Mountain attractions for families and groups! If you have children, you’ll love a scenic rafting trip on the Lower Pigeon River. If you want something a little more thrilling, you can experience class 3 and 4 rapids on the Upper Pigeon River. Smoky Mountain Outdoors also offers extreme upper river rafting and inflatable kayaking during the rafting season. From March through the end of April and Labor Day through Oct. 15, you can enjoy natural release trips on the Pigeon River. Rafting trips are an exciting adventure the whole group will love!
4. Great Smoky Mountains National Park
A trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a must when you stay in our cabins. Explore more than 850 miles of hiking trails and a variety of other activities for free! Some popular hiking trails you should try are Laurel Falls, Alum Cave Trail, and Ramsey Cascades. You can also share a picnic or go fishing! The national park is the best place to take in the natural beauty of the mountains. There will be gorgeous views all around you, and plenty of photo opportunities for you and your group!
